Varsity Head Coach - Robert "Bo" Ramsey

Coach Bo Ramsey has taught 7th Grade World Studies at
Licking Heights for the past 6 years. In addition to
teaching, Bo has coached quite a few of our L/H
Athletes. Some of his coaching experience includes:
10 years L/H Wrestling Coach ( 2 yrs Jr. High Coach)
8 years L/H Football Coach
( 4 yrs High School, 4 yrs Jr. High)
2 Years L/H Baseball Coach
Coach Ramsey is also a 1996 Graduate of Ashland
University where he spent a year on the AU Wrestling
Team and 3 years on the AU Rugby Team. Prior to
attending college, Coach Ramsey was a 1991 graduate
of Licking Heights High School where he had an
extensive athletic career. A few of his accomplishments
include:
4 year Wrestling Letterman (career record of 110-31-1)
3x State Qualifier (9th, 11th, & 12th grades)
6th Place OHSAA State Tournament
2x National Greco-Roman Placer ( 6th @ 1992 AAU Grand
Nationals, 9th @ 1989 Cadet Nationals)
4 year Football Letterman / 2 year Baseball Letterman
For years Coach Ramsey has volunteered a portion of
his spare time building and instructing our successful
Little Hornets Youth Wrestling Club. In addition to
athletics, Bo enjoys spending spare time with his two
nieces Brynna and Julianna, relaxing with friends, and
watching football. He also spends as much time reading
as his busy schedule will allow.
